“A Berkshire Sampler”

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Author Kevin O’Hara shares his quirky and fascinating life in his books, and now he will share readings with us. Celebrate with noted Berkshire author, Kevin O’Hara, who will read a selection of short stories from his four books, Last of the Donkey Pilgrims, A Lucky Irish Lad, A Christmas Journey, and Ins and Outs of a Locked Ward. Delightful. Heartwarming. Sometimes heartbreaking.

Kevin O’Hara from Pittsfield, MA, has written four books (see above), as well as being a longtime columnist for The Berkshire Eagle. Kevin is also the proud recipient of the John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Award in 2012, “for being an outstanding American of Irish descent.”

Mr. O’Hara was writer-in-residence at Herman Melville’s Arrowhead in Pittsfield, MA in 2020.

Lastly, Kevin worked as a psychiatric nurse (RN, BSN) for 30-plus years at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA., which is the subject of his fourth book, published in May, 2022. thedonkeyman.com
