Balance and Strength Training

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Monday, repeating until Monday November 22, 2021
Certified fitness instructor Joe Thorn will lead two identical one-hour general fitness sessions via Zoom. The exercises and information shared will enable participants to improve their balance, flexibility and muscular strength as well as posture and weight management. Comfy clothes & shoes, a chair, two one-pound weights (or soup cans), an exercise band (or towel) and a 6-8” diameter ball is all you need to get you on the path to feeling more fit and healthy!
Experience “Balance and Strength Training” on Monday, November 15 and Monday, November 22, 2021, at 10:00 am via Zoom. Certified fitness instructor Joe Thorn will lead these identical one-hour general fitness programs designed to help folks enjoy exercising, build confidence, and meet their health & wellness goals. Turn back the clock and age proactively with this full body improvement workout. All you will need is a chair, comfy clothes and shoes, two one-pound weights (or two soup cans), an exercise band (or towel), and a 6-8” diameter ball (if you have one).
Joe Thorn has been doing in-home (and more currently Zoom-based) personal fitness training since 2016 along with providing strength and balance classes at Camphill Ghent Senior Independent Living Home and providing individual personal training at the Old Chatham Tennis Club since 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Thorn offered individual personal training, strength and balances classes, and core classes at Chatham Body Works.
