Check Out These Books! Book Lovers’ Recommendation

Just in time to get ideas for your summer reading, NCFL is hosting a free and open to all gathering of book lovers in its beautiful garden on Wednesday, June 14 at 10:00am. In case of rain, the gathering will be held inside the library. At the end of the gathering, everyone will have a list of books other “bookies” have loved.

Each participant should come prepared to recommend one or two favorite reads and briefly describe its plot and author and why the book is a personal favorite. There will be time for questions and answers about each book. This shared input will be a guide for your summer reading and/or provide suggestions for book clubs. Books may be fiction or nonfiction.

Bring your own chair if you can and, if you want, your own beverage. Cookies will be provided. There is a limit of 12 participants to allow ample time for discussion so register early to avoid disappointment.
