From Bach to Rock – Alex Prizgintas

Alex Prizgintas performs classic rock songs in a way that you have never experienced before. He is an extraordinarily talented cellist, who presents cello with a modern twist, folding in electronics and sampling for a fresh take on music from classical to rock! The amplified cello is augmented by a looping station with guitar pedals that allow him to build layered soundscapes that blend both classical and modern styles. The collection of music will be diverse and enjoyable and the history segment of the program, an added bonus.
