Learn How to Knit a Hat on a Loom

No needles required! Make a knit hat using a hand-held loom. Leona Scarpinato will instruct attendees using this simple, quick and fun method to make a knit hat to wear, gift or donate. All materials will be supplied free of charge.
This program is held at the Malden Bridge Community Center. Leona Scarpinato, a member of the NCFL’s Enriching Life Increasing Knowledge (ELIK) committee will instruct attendees on how to knit a hat using a round hand-held loom. This is a simple, quick and fun way to make knit hats for yourself, as gifts for family and friends, or to donate to a charitable organization. Loom and yarn will be provided.

This free program is being offered by ELIK which has received funding from Berkshire Taconic Foundation’s The Fund for Columbia County as well as The Bank of Greene County to deliver educational programs free of charge to adults in Northern Columbia County.
