Life in the Past Lane

Come spend a lovely afternoon in the garden of the North Chatham Library on June 6 at 3:00pm listening to “Life in the Past Lane.” This popular program presented by the North Chatham Library Memoir Group provides the attendees with the thoughts, travels, and lives of the Group, be they sad, funny and everything in between.

The Group and their topics include: Mitzi Dorton, “The Cinderella Who Drove Her Own Coach;” part of a creative nonfiction piece published by Northern Colorado Writers in Rise, an Anthology of Change; Marlene Clark, “Amazing Shepard;” not the song but a life changing experience; Maria Cosenza, “The Concrete Airplane, a little girl’s fantasy; Landra Haber, “The Normandy Invasion Remembered,” recalling a poignant visit to Historic Normandy Beach; Leona Scarpinato, “A Most Precious Gift,” a love story with a generous twist and Carol Hegeman, Nimba County, Liberia: A Peace Corps Memoir.

This program will be held outside. Please bring a chair and respect other’s social distance. Light refreshments will be served.
