Autumn is the perfect time for the North Chatham community to gather together and celebrate.

Inside festive tents located in front of the Library the scent of simmering homemade chili will fill the air and tempt all passersby. Once your appetite is sated, search for the perfect read at our book sale. And don’t forget to buy a raffle ticket or two for a gorgeous queen size Blazing Star Pattern quilt, where the winning ticket will be chosen at 1:30pm. Finally, relax and listen to Emily Wood who will be reading from the illustrated version of The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind. Eight illustrated editions will be given to the first eight children who listen to the story book being read. This New York Times bestseller was written by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer with pictures by Albany resident Elizabeth Zunon.
