Leaving or Staying in Your Home When You Retire

Tuesday, November 10, 6  pm

Theresa Mayhew, Resource Educator, Cornell Cooperative Extension Columbia Greene Counties

Whether you’ve already retired or will do so shortly, deciding on whether to stay in your current home or move closer to family or a more desirable climate is something that many seniors think about. This program will look at the benefits and pitfalls of moving or staying put when it comes to access to health care, cost of living, personal passions or pursuits, and if one does move, renting versus buying your home.
