Presentation by Memoir Group for New Members

The memoir writing group of the North Chatham Free Library seeks a few new members. Those with an interest in joining are invited to attend an introductory meeting on October 14 at 3 PM on the library lawn or inside the little library in case of rain.*

Meetings are the second Thursday of the month starting at 3 PM. This memoir group focuses on reading and discussing short (3-5 minutes) vignettes. These vignettes vary widely and can be humorous, poignant, sad or illustrative of a certain place or time. Each vignette is discussed after each meeting to provide friendly ideas for improving it.

Since the introductory meeting is limited to six people, early registration is recommended. The library will keep a wait list for people who try to register after the six slots are filled. To register, email the library at [email protected] (preferred) or call (518) 766- 3211.
