Quilt Auction on eBay

Imagine snuggling under this beautiful quilt, or presenting it as a gift to someone you love. The Sew ‘n Sews, a small group of quilters from a tiny hamlet in upstate New York, worked together to create it. Theirs is an annual labor of love, gathering at the North Chatham Free Library to work out a design, members working together to sew it, and ending up with a charming work of art they sell, with the proceeds going 100% to support the library.
Working in pre-pandemic times, they made this gorgeous quilt that is a sumptuous 91.5″ long and 69.5″ wide. The complex Hunter Star pattern stands out with the colors of teal and yellow/teal batik. And don’t worry – there is a label saying it was made by the Sew ‘n Sews as well as the name of the woman who did the all over quilting – guaranteeing its handmade bona fides.
Consider purchasing what is both a practical item as well as a work of art, while supporting the library at the same time.

THE NORTH CHATHAM FREE LIBRARY***
Why support the Library?
Each year the North Chatham Free Library produces over 400 events that enrich our community. Hundreds attend Performances, Lectures, Demonstrations, Arts & Crafts Workshops, and Children’s Programs annually. These programs are made possible
through our fundraising efforts, which have been severely undercut by the pandemic.
The Library also provides free internet access. A lifeline for many at this time.
