Enriching Life, Increasing Knowledge

"Enriching Life Increasing Knowledge” (ELIK) is Northern Columbia County's only appropriately scaled life-long learning institute for older adults encompassing varied classes and program series, such as a 2020 series on "Creating and Living a Vibrant Retirement" and a 2021 series on Senior Wellness.

The Arts & Culture

The Arts and Culture program series at the North Chatham Free Library expands the role our library plays in community life. We present timely, often provocative, and lively programs that encourage civic engagement and dialogue. The informal setting of our small library allows the audience to interact with each presenter in a more personal way than is often possible.

Kids Programs

A love of stories leads to literacy. NCFL has an excellent varied collection of books, audio books and picture books for young children.

  • Story Time for little ones on Saturdays at 10:30 with Cyndie.
  • We will offer enrichment programs and craft activities.

**Due to COVID-19 inside programing is suspended.**

Be sure to take advantage of all our online resources for children and kids of all ages.

Summer Programs

Summer time is made for fun.  Our programming is an intergenerational experience filled with crafts and performances.
