Life In The Past Lane: Memoir Readings

Sunday October 22, 2023 @ 3:00 pm

Illustration of a manual typewriter with paper that reads "Memoir: readings by local writers"

Captivating tales of life in the past lane from NCFL Memoir group. This very popular group has been bringing their stories to life since 2012. The tales will be as varied as this group of women, drawn from the experiences of each person’s life: funny, sad, surprising, and surprisingly personal, you never know what you will hear next. A few in the group have read their stories on WAMC’s Listener’s Essay. Others have had pieces published, and a couple of members are writing seriously with plans for a book later.

Dorothy Cummings moderates and a provides a brief relevant bio for each of the writers. There will be time for questions after the program.
